Thursday morning, journalists from three prominent media outlets will join a Winthrop Mass Communications professor for a roundtable on the media’s coverage of the presidential campaigns.

Chuck Todd of NBC News,  Steve Brusk of CNN and Steve Brook of the State Newspaper in Columbia will join Dr. Nathaniel Frederick of Winthrop with a spirited discussion on the coverage of presidential politics.

Frederick tells WRHI one of the central ideas of the summit is looking into how the media monster itself is affecting the campaigns — and vice versa.

And Frederick says the discussion is not only limited to credentialed, accredited media — but to so-called “citizen journalists.”
