Tuesday night, Rock Hill cyclists had their first chance to give their input on future bike-friendly roads and corridors near Winthrop University.

More than 100 interested citizens strolled through the Glencarin Garden Learning Center to hear what city planners have in store. City Landscape Architect Danny Young.

Tuesday’s session follows a study finalized last year organized by Winthrop and city leaders called the College Town Action Plan.

City Councilman John Black says the cycling and pedestrian friendly walkways do mesh with economic development initiatives.
