The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce is reminding residents how important it is for them to shop at local businesses, especially during the holiday season.

Youngblood said the buy local campaign is successful even if it only convinces one person to shop in York County instead of Charlotte. Youngblood recalls a letter he received earlier this year from a local community leader in Fort Mill.
