New law allows beer sampling (AUDIO)

Governor Mark Sanford was in Spartanburg at R.J. Rockers brewery Tuesday afternoon to promote a new law that allows people to sample beer at South Carolina microbrewers. The measure allows samplings and onsite sales only if customers take a tour.

The governor says the change makes sense.

Sanford signed the bill into law last month. State law already allowed wine and liquor sampling, but not beer sampling.
